On Sunday was our annual COMPASSION SUNDAY gathering where we highlight our partnership with Compassion to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. It was a fantastic morning where Ryan Smith (Our local compassion correspondent) shared about hope in the neighbourhood.

In Mike's Message today he is continuing to share on 'Heart Health' as found in Proverbs 4:23, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." And in this message focuses on envy & desire.

"You don't rid envy by trying harder- you heal by bringing it into the light and yielding to the spirit."

Happy Easter! Over the weekend we had fantastic services for Good Friday & Easter Sunday here at Goodlife. In the lead up to Easter, we are reaching the end of our series looking through the Gospel of Luke. On Sunday, we had guest speaker James Hall share about Palm Sunday and what that has meant to him as an Anglican Priest. From Advent into Easter we are going through the Gospel of Luke. Today Mike is sharing about Luke's Good News on Humility from Luke 18:9. Jesus shares a parable about what it means to be justified, and Mike explains justification and how it has been misunderstood. Humility is the posture of deep communion with God. Reliant, grateful, and confident in Christ's love for us.

Today Mike is sharing about Smallness; achieving or doing something small and how it's the little things that add up to big change. In Luke 13, Jesus uses the metaphor of a mustard seed that grows into a tree.
