Matthew 3:1-17 : Reading this chapter many questions come to mind: 

• Who is John? 
• Why is he preaching in the wilderness? 
• Why is he wearing camels’ hair and eating locusts? 
• How did the people feel when John called out the religious leaders? 
• Did everyone hear the voice of God and see the dove when Jesus was baptised?

Faith Over Fear - Stepping Into 2026 || Kings Kingdom week 1 with Joren Berry

As we step into 2026, the future feels uncertain. New beginnings often bring anxiety about the unknown, leaving us with a choice: will we respond with faith or fear?

In Matthew 2:13–23, we see the contrast between Joseph’s faithful obedience and Herod’s fearful need for control. Through Matthew’s fulfilment themes, Jesus is revealed as the true Messiah, bringing a New Exodus, ending exile, and coming for the lost. This ancient story invites us to trust God’s character and step into obedience, even when the path ahead is unclear.

As this year begins, ask yourself: What is God asking me to be obedient in during 2026?

Gifts fit for a king: learning from the 3 wise men || Advent week 4 with Julie Palin

This Advent we are journeying through the book of Matthew, his gospel in particular highlights how Jesus is the fulfilment of the old testament prophecies of the Messiah. Hope Disguised || Advent week 3 with V Gilmour

This Advent we are journeying through the book of Matthew, his gospel in particular highlights how Jesus is the fulfilment of the old testament prophecies of the Messiah. This week V looks at the story of Mary and Joesph and we find that hope does not always arrive in the way we expect, or look like we think it should. Sometimes the Lord has to train us to see His blessing and favour as it truly is, rather than a worldly perception of blessing and favour.
