Happy Easter! Over the weekend we had fantastic services for Good Friday & Easter Sunday here at Goodlife. As we continue through the gospel of Luke, Mike Hardie is sharing Luke's Good News on PRAYER. In his message, he dissects The Lord's Prayer and 5 ways Jesus invites us into transformation. It's not a strict rule or formula but each verse brings profound ideas about how to pray.
1. "Father, hallowed be your name" invites intimacy and holy awe.
2. "Your kingdom come" refocuses our priorities with God's purposes.
3. "Give us each day our daily bread" reminds US to trust in God's provision.
4. "Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves are forgive" reminds us of God's restorative justice.
5. "Do not lead us into temptation" expresses dependence on God for deliverance.
